Articles on: 💵 Adding Funds

Why can't I see my funds?

If you’ve added funds but don’t see them yet, the reason usually depends on how you funded your Halocard account.

Bank transfers (ACH, Wire, PayPal ACH, SEPA)

Funds may not be visible because:

  • Bank transfers are not instant
  • Funds appear only after the transfer fully settles
  • Weekends and bank holidays can delay processing

Bank transfers take anywhere from 1 - 3 business days. If your transfer hasn’t arrived yet, it may still be in transit with the sending bank.

Card payments (Debit, Credit, Apple Pay, Google Pay)

Funds may not be visible because:

  • The payment may be pending authorisation
  • The payment may have failed or been reversed by your bank
  • Additional checks may be required for security or fraud prevention

Card payments usually appear immediately if successful. If you don’t see the funds, check your banking app to confirm your payment was declined or reversed.

Cryptocurrency funding (USDC/USDT, BTC/ETH/SOL, Other Tokens)

Funds may not be visible because:

  • The transaction hasn’t reached enough network confirmations
  • The transfer was sent on the wrong network
  • The transfer was sent with the wrong amount
  • A token conversion is still processing

Stablecoins (USDT, USDC) usually take less than a few minutes once confirmed on-chain.

Major tokens (BTC, ETH, SOL) can take 5 - 60 minutes for confirmation and conversion to USD.

Other tokens can take slightly longer if liquidity isn't readily available.

Crypto deposits are usually fast, but funds will only appear after the transaction is confirmed on the blockchain.

What should I do if the expected processing time has passed?

If your funds still aren’t visible after the expected timeframe, please contact Halocard support with the funding method, amount, and date, and we’ll investigate.
