What happens to my personal data after verification?

Once verification is complete, Halocard removes the personal information used for identity verification from its platform; that information is processed and retained by our regulated verification and banking partners for account security, fraud prevention, and legal compliance.

These partners include our identity verification provider, card-issuing bank, payment processor, and fraud-prevention services, each of which handles data under their own privacy policies and cardholder agreements, which apply to their respective services.

Halocard does not sell your data, use it for advertising, or report your activity to credit bureaus. Halocard retains only limited account and transaction records needed to operate your account, support transactions, and meet legal requirements, and only for the periods required by law.
