Is Halocard anonymous?

No, Halocard is not anonymous, but it is privacy-focused.

To issue cards and comply with financial regulations, Halocard performs identity verification, which is required by our card issuer, banking partners, and card network (Visa). This applies to all legitimate card programs, as banks and card networks are legally required to verify cardholders to prevent fraud, money laundering, and other financial crime.

With Halocard, your identity is verified, but your spending remains private.

  • Your bank or primary funding source is not shared with merchants
  • Your individual purchases do not appear on your bank statements
  • Merchants see Halocard details, not your personal bank details
  • Your spending activity is visible only inside your Halocard account

This approach allows Halocard to offer high acceptance, strong fraud protection, and long-term reliability, while still giving you meaningful privacy over how and where your spending information is shared.

Halocard does not offer anonymous or unverified cards, cards that bypass identity or compliance checks, or cards designed to avoid legal or regulatory requirements. Services claiming to offer fully anonymous cards without verification often operate outside card-network rules, carry a high risk of losing funds, and can be shut down without notice.
